This whole week sucks. I only studied about enzymes and did some maths plus vomited some blood out when doing so.
I haven't been narrating my life story for awhile. So i shall do it now. Wahaha. Be prepared to get bored !!! WOO HOO !!!!
On friday i have this wushu 1 day overnight camp. A bit meaningless. Yeah just a bit. There are still good parts to this camp.
But the first thing in the morning already pissed me off. I woke up late. I was supposed to reach there at 8am but i woke up at 8am. =.=
Omg this didn't happened before. I think i am getting old. :(
I didn't like being late. But i didn't like not being presentable even more. I still took some time to style my hair.
Then the first programme is wushu training. Well, only a handful of us turned up. There is this group of people who wanted to stay at home to study. They didn't come for the whole camp too, which we planned specially for them.
Oh well.
The instructor taught us some basic self defence. Like, how to escape when someone grabbed ( or rather, when some pervert hug you tight from behind ) , and how you should react when someone tap you from behind ( the someone is especially those petty bastards who like to cause you trouble ) .
Well, that's about it. I missed most of the previous 'basic skill' exercise.
Then we watched a rather interesting movie called 'Wushu'. Erm, yeah. One of this movie's good point is that the bad guy really look like a bad guy. Yeah seriously. Other movies' bad guys cannot compare with the face of this bad guy in 'Wushu'.
His eyes, hair, moustache, beard, posture, facial expression, power and strength, all looked 100% evil.
Imba.
And the bad guy and his minions are really evil. They trick a wushu exponent to shaking hands and they hold his hand tight not letting it go while another minion used a hammer to break his hand.
Omg this was freaking scary.
After the movie, had lunch, and prepared the stations for the mini wow-so-amazing race.
Kinda amazing. Total 2 teams, each 2 people. 0.O
Ok the last station was rather interesting. We let 1 of them listen to a song through headphones, and he'll sing and the other will guess the song. Probably the only innovative station.
Lol. One of them can't sing a japanese song even after listening to it many many times. To the extent that i have to give them a hint and tell them what's the only part that is not japanese?? (The song's "Change the World" , Inuyasha's first opening theme. I was pretty sure they know though... The first sentence is already the song title. :) )
And after this wow-so-amazing race, i played emcee to the little farewell ceremony. I tried to be hyper in the beginning, ( but i need some alchohol if i really have to be in my most hyper mode haha) , and i really am hyper, but i see the response of my 'audience' arh then i a bit sian. Only 1 of them who is also usually hyper one joined me in hypering.
Haix... I kinda lost some energy and became a little tranquil. Just a little. I must remain hyper, if not the 'audience' will get more sian.
We have this little 'award' ceremony where we give to each senior, who will be leaving for A levels , "certificates" of what 'award' they get. But half of our seniors are rather studious and didn't turn up, so it was indeed abit sian when half the time no one come up to receive the
So, after my time of boring hosting, the happy moment finally came. Our teacher-in-charge was kind and generous to treat us to sushi buffet at somewhere between downtown east and E!hub.
But this sushi buffet is a bit stupid. Eat-all the non-red plates and $2.18 dish-you-can BUT only within 90 minutes.
Well, the 90 minutes was quite a turn off, though we would be naturally be finished within that time.
Still, i enjoyed the fried tofu. I ate 8 plates if i am not wrong. So, that makes 16 fried tofus.
But i think i didn't enjoy enough salmon. Approaching the end of the 90 minutes then i realised i haven't eat enough salmon, and i was still stuffing pieces of salmon enjoying the salmon melting in my tongue at the last minute. 0.O
But, don't ever follow what i did. I was close to vomiting while we were taking a walk to east coast park. Well, but i thought i could eat a lot...
Back at school, the" overnight stay" sounds interesting but seriously we've got nothing to do.
The school sucks. It's like a vacuum.
Played cards till 1.30am. Got to know about the asshole dai dee and the hold-em poker. And beginner's luck shone upon me while playing the hold-em poker. Oooohhh~~
Sleep. And back to today. In the programme list, it said that today there's a Surprise.
But i guess they know the Surprise is Spring Cleaning of the wushu room.
And well, i am the Quarter Master. ( If you don't know what my job is, it's just that 4 of me will make 1 whole.... )
Revamped the room, rearranged the stuff in the room, and wasted time thinking about what stuff should be placed in which part of the room.
According to them, they said, for the final result of today's spring cleaning, they are quite satisfied with the room's new arrangement. Previously, there's one super dusty and spidery corner in the room, blocked off by 2 cupboards, tables, benches and drums and lion heads.
We shifted the cupboard to a new place, along with other furniture also, and opened up that corner to make the room more spacious.
But overall i am still not quite satisfied with the room, probably because i asked them for their opinions and asked if the majority agrees. If i agree and they agree, we proceed with the arrangement. And also the room still looked abit untidy. I didn't have much idea about how to re-arrange.
But never mind. If they say it looks better then it'll be alright.
Okay and this ends another of my boredom session.
I'll be going for another camp later. Gonna catch up with my Boy's Brigade comrades.
I am surprised at my energy level. I slept at 2.30am last night. I think this post can even show how tired i am. :) 'award'.
Currently hooked on classical Touhou music arranges from TAMusic. Seriously, they are awesome.
PROFILE
Ayayayaya ~
Touhou Fan.
Listens mostly to Touhou doujin music
(Because the creator of Touhou (ZUN) is damn talented, his BGM for the game series are godly, including the game series he made itself, and hence many dedicated groups of musicians do arranges of his original BGM)
("Arranges" are one level higher than "covers")
Very Japanese-oriented, absolutely not Korean-crazy like the crowd out there
Watches Japanese anime
Wants to do, learn and try many, many things, but finds it hard to find the time, commitment, and energy to do all of that
Life is short, and i want mine to be especially so
