I am always inspired by things i see and experience.
This time round, i am inspired about the importance of family ties. And inspired from an 18+ visual novel: Kazoku Keikaku (Family Project). A little ironic/paradoxical, but yes Japan is the land of innovation.
Rarely do i come across with media content that moved me to tears and inspired me with such different awe than normal.
What was another visual novel that gave me the same feeling... oh it's Yume Miru Kusuri. I think i mentioned it before, so just Google it. After all, it seems both titles have the same storywriter behind them.
Kazoku Keikaku, 7 strangers came together by coincidence, each of them have their own painful wound, be it broken/dysfunctional families or human relationships. And 7 of them formed a surrogate (don't know if that's the correct word to use) family, whose bonds strengthened as they go through crisis.
Of course you'll need to make correct decisions to reach the proper (and touching) endings for each female character, it's a visual novel after all.
Unlike other 18+ visual novel titles around, titles like Kazoku Keikaku do not put much emphasis on titillating sexual acts , instead their selling point is the story. Who said the Japanese only had sex on their mind.
Indeed it taught me the value of human bonds and ties, but when i look into reality now for a moment, i find it hard to really put what i'd learnt into practise.
So i'll see the level of inspiration. Probably i'll also try Clannad out.
Currently hooked on classical Touhou music arranges from TAMusic. Seriously, they are awesome.
PROFILE
Ayayayaya ~
Touhou Fan.
Listens mostly to Touhou doujin music
(Because the creator of Touhou (ZUN) is damn talented, his BGM for the game series are godly, including the game series he made itself, and hence many dedicated groups of musicians do arranges of his original BGM)
("Arranges" are one level higher than "covers")
Very Japanese-oriented, absolutely not Korean-crazy like the crowd out there
Watches Japanese anime
Wants to do, learn and try many, many things, but finds it hard to find the time, commitment, and energy to do all of that
Life is short, and i want mine to be especially so
