Merry Christmas to Cirno and Letty Whiterock, and all other residents of Gensokyo.
Dreams. Being a doctor that prolongs life and quality of life or being a fireworks engineer who brighten hearts with wonderful and new designs of fireworks are not dreams, they are ambitions.
Dreams might be something that is not easily achieved. My dream is to be in a place of fantasy, it's hard to illustrate, but it's something like Gensokyo, the setting of the Touhou series.
Probably the only way to achieve it is to go mad. I won't know. Huh.
Speaking of dreams, i came across a news article mentioning that a "Santa Claus" had started his journey from the North Pole in a reindeer sledge carry 6 tonnes of presents (if i got the info correct) and is (or was) travelling all around globe to give presents to children. And you can check where he is (or had been) in a website. In this news article i saw this army officer being interviewed and he said something like in this age of info tech Mr. Santa has also gotten high tech with GPS and we can follow Mr. Santa in Facebook, Twitter, Youtube etc. And also due to snowstorms around Mr. Santa is delayed for a bit for his course around the globe.
I don't intend to dash a child's dream if she still believes there is really a real Santa Claus.
So i'll say yes Mr. Santa is really working hard to bring presents to children. And if you didn't receive any presents, it's okay because Mr. Santa has already given to you presents in one form or another - it doesn't have to be wrapped in wrapping paper and tied with ribbons.
So what's my present from Mr. Santa then? I have still yet to find out. Maybe i received some sort of enlightenment from him.
Tomorrow there is a cosplay event called EOY. I am thinking whether i want to go or not.
Firstly, you need a ticket to enter. There will probably be a long queue if i buy the tickets on the day itself, but i can pre-order at Singpost. Unfortunately Singpost is closed today, a public holiday. Secondly, i am a shut-in and recluse, so it takes a lot of effort and interest to drag me out of my house. And my cold seem to get worse by the day, huh i don't know when i will vomit or sneeze out blood.
But thirdly, apparently my brother is going to cosplay at that event tomorrow. It might be interesting to see how he turns out.
And fourthly, some of my favourite anime songs will be performed on stage at intervals in the event. The songs are really great but i don't know how it will turn out because the performers are not the original ones that sung the songs.
Moreover, there will be my favourite lolita fashion runway. I might not want to miss that eye-candy. Plus there are also booths that sell anime merchandise and many other booths too. I might want to experience the same kind of experience like in AFA.
So i am tied to both ends. This is a hard decision for me.
Currently hooked on classical Touhou music arranges from TAMusic. Seriously, they are awesome.
PROFILE
Ayayayaya ~
Touhou Fan.
Listens mostly to Touhou doujin music
(Because the creator of Touhou (ZUN) is damn talented, his BGM for the game series are godly, including the game series he made itself, and hence many dedicated groups of musicians do arranges of his original BGM)
("Arranges" are one level higher than "covers")
Very Japanese-oriented, absolutely not Korean-crazy like the crowd out there
Watches Japanese anime
Wants to do, learn and try many, many things, but finds it hard to find the time, commitment, and energy to do all of that
Life is short, and i want mine to be especially so
