Haixx. 2 weeks of suffering had finally past.
Great.
First week was chionging holiday homework, second week was stressful tests. To be exact, 3 tests fall on the same day thursday and it's like a bit crazy.
But it's still great cos i can get these 3 tests done and over with quickly in 1 day and get rid of the bulk of the stress.
The 3 tests, math, bio and econs seem easy, but of course most often if i think it's easy i will screw it up.
And i say 'bulk' because next monday there's still an essay writing session in class and i don't like to do things within a short time limit, especially writing a gp essay.
And around next wednesday there's also a chem test. D:
Probably chem will cause a problem cos somehow, in the transition from secondary school to a junior college, i lost much of my interest in chemistry and instead gain interests in biology.
I think it's because there's nothing in chem to spark any interest. I won't go like, WOW OMG when i mix potassium iodide, hydrogen peroxide, starch and someting else i forgot together then the solution will like, magically turn blue for a very short instant before changing to dark green permanently how great is it lol.
But for bio when i learn about dna and read about epigenetics i often daydream about the numerous possibilities i can open up when i research about it more in the future.
Lol.
Still, i don't know if my a little less than often habit of losing interests in things easily will kick in in this.
Oh anyway i think i got about a year's worth of free singtel's AMPed subscription signed when i renewed my mobile contract many months ago.
I don't like it. First and the most important reason, it crashes my Firefox every single time and i had to reload all 30 tabs i had (with Youtube videos taking up half of the tabs).
I don't know why Firefox is so significant to me, i think it's because i am using a browser skin that has a girl on it which is an illustration of Firefox if it were to be materialised and portrayed as a female.
Lol. Oh and also i came across this super super super super super super ooohhhh~ cute picture of Mokou at gensokyo.org.
It represents Firefox !! (Mokou has fire and phoenix-based spellcards)
And that's why i wanted to keep using Firefox, no matter how slow IE is or seems to feel, no matter how successful the branding of Firefox is (i think it's quite successful actually, cos of all the free add-ons and also cos it at least made me felt IE, something from microsoft, is clunky, slow and bulky.)
Back to topic.
Second reason why i don't like singtel's AMPed is because of cultural differences. I want Japanese songs, namely, Touhou fan arranges, Vocaloids, and songs from artistes like UVERworld.
But no i can't find it in AMPed.
And the chinese songs are so limited. There are only 14 of them when i checked that time, and they are old songs somemore. Or maybe the site don't allow me to find many new ones easily.
I don't listen to english ones except for rare cases like lady gaga's poker face.
So, i am gonna cancel it soon. You can say it's a waste of potential money as i didn't download any songs since i renewed my contract, and AMPed eats up money after your free period is over.
But it's so troublesome, i need to call singtel's number which i forgot ( was it 1626? or does it belong to the damned starhub?) and i don't like to talk to strangers. Or maybe i can also disable it online, but by using IE and making myself frustrated.
Ok. And here concludes this complaining session, which apparently is said to be a singaporean's specialty - complain only but usually no action except rant on Straits Time's forum.
