I always wanted to watch Neon Genesis Evangelion. I mean the name is cool with the big words, especially Evangelion, and also Utada Hikaru did a damn nice song "Beautiful World" for the movie remake of this series.



But then, the reason why i always procrastinate about watching this series is because basically i cannot really stand old graphics quality (the anime debuted in 1996, but the movie remake is in Blu-ray though, but the moive remake doesn't complete the whole story and will add new or change the original plot if i am not wrong), and this serie's genre, according to Kumby, is action, drama, psychological, science fiction, mecha.


It seems quite depressing since i only like comedy/romance types.




So i guess i'll wait for the time to be ripe to start watching this.






By the way, "Neon" in this title should be referring to "new", since the Japanese title is 新世紀エヴァンゲリオン, and 新世紀 means new century.

I got no idea why it's Neon though.
