Wushu training today. A new instructor came and conducted a trial training to see if he wanna stay and continue teaching us.
He didn't point out most of our mistakes i think we made during the training, but i guess since it's a trial training, it might be discourteous to point mistakes out excessively.
I don't really know if he will stay, since in my opinion, the level of preparedness for the April competition is not that high, and if he don't want to attempt to resurrect TPJC wushu i guess he won't stay.
But at least his prep talk (not exactly prep talk, but that's the current noun in mind) at the end of the training has motivated me more to stay in school after classes to practise.
Lots of issues happened between school admin and the instructors, as i had heard, so that's why new ones are coming.
Speaking of practice, i heard from a lot of people from many different areas of expertise that it is the way to get good at things, and there is no avoiding it unless you're super ZOMGWTFBBQHAXXOR talented.
The instructor emphasised on the importance of consistent practise.
A forumer said that practising is probably the only way to get better at Touhou games. He/she also said if after practising, the next day comes and when you don't see imaginary coloured bullets it means you haven't practised enough. But of course having fun is also important.
And my very own advice (though i don't really think i am an expert yet) i gave to someone on how to get better at Bejeweled Blitz is to keep practising. But somehow i guess her friend also practised hard and currently beat me at the score ranking by 20K+.
But then passion might also have to be present though.
Change of topic.
Oh wow i got an edusave merit bursary. It's not really that much to boast about, but i guess that can be my "salary" to make up for my lack of passion to find work in this holidays..
Change of topic.
Does spectacles start to weigh heavier when your eyes' degree has worsened? I think i had a similar experience before. Recently i felt that it's heavier than before, and i get tired when wearing it. And i feel i can open my eyes 100% when i take my spectacles off as compared to only 69% when wearing spectacles. (And maybe people will think i have eyes belonging to a psycho's since it's only half-opened.)
Great. Time for a new pair of spectacles.
I am tired of this purple spectacles anyway. Dumb people come up to me and say to me, " Eew purple = GAY." Either that or sometimes passerbys who think they are so high-class give me weird stares as if i am some weird animal.
F you nbcb. D:
Purple = international gay colour?
F it.
Speaking of which, i also have long nails and then dumb people also come up to me and say to me , " Eew long nails = GAY."
F you nbcb. D:
I got long nails because my fat fingers hurt when the nails are short.
Ok anyway, i think i am gonna get a black pair of spectacles since i heard NS there only can wear black ones.
And oh i realised i said "Dumb" a lot of times. Haha.
Currently hooked on classical Touhou music arranges from TAMusic. Seriously, they are awesome.
PROFILE
Ayayayaya ~
Touhou Fan.
Listens mostly to Touhou doujin music
(Because the creator of Touhou (ZUN) is damn talented, his BGM for the game series are godly, including the game series he made itself, and hence many dedicated groups of musicians do arranges of his original BGM)
("Arranges" are one level higher than "covers")
Very Japanese-oriented, absolutely not Korean-crazy like the crowd out there
Watches Japanese anime
Wants to do, learn and try many, many things, but finds it hard to find the time, commitment, and energy to do all of that
Life is short, and i want mine to be especially so
