Whenever i come across this biology chapter of evolution, i always have this gloom and dark afterthought that ponders if certain concepts of evolution does apply to us humans as well.

According to Darwin's theory of natural selection briefly, "many individuals fail to survive and reproduce, and there is a 'struggle for existence' within a population." , and " In the 'struggle for existence', those individuals showing variations best adapted to their environment have a 'reproductive advantage' and produce more offspring than less well-adapted organisms.

i.e., Natural Selection.

I guess if those concepts are projected to human societal life, it kinda makes sense that life is practical.

But the 'reproductive advantage' part is a little disturbing. Maybe substitute it for "have a social advantage and more able to find a partner/mate" , because many will argue that life isn't all about sex and "passing down of alleles to the next generation" or misogyny or miso soup.



Anyway it's kinda in human nature or dna to form communities, so i guess it's comforting to know this idea might/can change the rules of the game of nature.



But in this idea of communities and the games of nature and practicality, is it fair that someone who used to be so "good friends" in a clique and then all of a sudden, changes clique for whatever reasons she have like maybe for practicality and the assumption that this so-called "betrayal" confers benefits and advantages especially when the A levels are coming and needs to join the "mugger" group.


People did warn that "You don't find real friends/soulmates in a jc.", and i might be a little harsh up there and probably even presumptuous and audacious of me to judge that.


Anyway, i actually want to believe that there's all peace and harmony, and that it's what everybody wants rationally.




But i won't have much say in all these matters; it's not really my business anyway.
