I just watched Bleach episode 289. Well it's been a while since there is, in my opinion, that much awe pumped into any episode.

The awe does not (mostly) come from cool moves or flashy battle animations (though which i'd like to make one by myself one day), but from the dialogue that evokes emotions and feelings behind the fight itself.

This episode centers on the fight between Hisagi and Komamura versus Tousen.

And Tousen's betrayal portrayed in this episode does get some adrenaline pumping.



But i kinda wish i watched the whole fight in one shot rather than them being separated weekly.

As what many anons had said, "can't wait for the next episode to come.".





By the way, i don't read mangas as i prefer the presentation of the story more "alive" in the form of moving coloured pictures and voices. And i am kinda lazy to visualise the black and white still scenes in mangas in my mind.

So i might be a little unfortunate to not see how much a badass Ichigo is in the Bleach manga as many had said as well. Heh.
