It's a little annoying how the latest episode of Bleach, which currently features this large bunch of people losing (plus dragging and dragging in a very, very slow pace episodes-wise) to just 1 single evil maniac (ok maybe add his subordinates as well though the latest episode showed he himself can slice up all but one of the good guys in an instant), got english subtitled within 1 hour of its tv broadcast in Japan, while this new anime airing this season, "Shinryaku! Ika Musume" featuring a pleasantly cutesy squid girl and her enthralling, interesting, sweet, fascinating and lovely encounters while on land, needs more than 48 hours to get the latest episode english subtitled.
No irony intended and i am being honest there, if you can't get the image of sarcasm dissociated away from my id.
Maybe not so much of a sarcastic person, but maybe a pessimist i might be.
S'poreans (native ones, and non-elites like those who are not politicians) are doomed. I am not saying that everything will be solved when we vote out the Pro Alien Party.
But it's a start.
Who can be so sure things will crumble when the ruling monopoly is out of power?
In fact things are already crumbling now. The first being that, don't ever mistakenly write in your AQ or essays that we are democratic.
We are not. We just have elections, and that's about it.
I can go on and on but of course i am a cautious person by nature and i am just an ordinary native singaporean and i am scared of the police or related people in the middle of the night come knocking at my door and arresting me for unknown reasons and me not being dressed smartly and the state-controlled media will come taking pictures of me in that form and write/fabricate things so that dumb singaporeans, who can't use their stupid brains to think when they read mainstream media, see my picture and then condemn me as an extremist and i will get a police record and face an even harder time finding job and surviving in foreigner-infested singapore with policies favouring the elites.
And of course everyting in that above paragraph is totally untrue and i am just daydreaming. So don't arrest me or sue me for anything or anything that you think i am insinuating because i am insinuating nothing- it's you and your own conscience who are the ones insinuating something - i merely left it open for interpretation.
Totally unrelated to the topic above, i think i somehow figured out what i am good at.
Nope not vertical scrolling danmaku shooting games, as there are far more people out there who are far proficient in them than me, so according to my logic this isn't qualified as being what i am good at.
Instead, i think i am good at forming conspiracy theories and 'thinking too much', so much so that i myself am shocked that i observed that i can actually link reasons to reasons about many, many things happening around me and in my surroundings.
Hmm let's not call it "being over-paranoid". If foreigners in singapore can be easily said to be "talents", why can't this little "talent" of mine be a , well, talent itself?
